Gus's First Holy Communion
Sunday was a wonderful day for the family! It was Mother's Day and also the day my 4th child received his first Holy Communion. I must say that it was the best Mother's Day gift ever! The tears flowed as I watched my excited son approach Fr. John..hands extended and and full of expectation. Afterwards, Gus entered the pew and exclaimed, "Mom! Jesus tastes good!"Yes, Gus, he most certainly does.
May we all remember the excitement of our first Holy Communion, now and until the end of our days.
