Rebecca is off to complete for the All-District Band today. It's the first time she competes on the high school level and is very nervous. Results will be posted tomorrow at an unknown time. The waiting will be painful for the child since she is deperately hoping to make the band. Please keep her in your prayers as she plays this morning.

Ug, she came in this afternoon feeling defeated. She said that she "choked" on the piece. I'll be prepared to pick of the pieces of my shattered child if the results are bad.

Sorry you did not make it. Its OK because you are still a winner.
Its not easy to compete but next time you will not make the same mistakes. Perhaps you were trying too hard. You are a magificent Trombone Player. This was just a little fluke.
Now you know that we must not take things for granted. Not that you did but I think that somehow inside your little heart, you felt that you would make it.
OH but how beautiful you are.
My girls went through this and it make them stronger.
