Fall Frolik

It is interesting to note that Fall weather inspires all of us to venture outside more to admire the beautiful colors of the season. Even my boys, who tend to complain about having to participate in any hard work, enthusiastically offer to rake leaves. They love creating a huge pile of leaves in the center of the yard and jumping in. They have their leaf fights and love to bury each other in the piles. This translates into hours of fun and activity. Only problem is, after they play in the leaves, they insist they are too tired to bag the leaves.

I really have no problem with this since there are still plenty of leaves yet to fall. But we will have a work day where everyone will have to bag leaves. And that will be a very sad day indeed.

The Family

The Family
2012-2013
The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
